Willie Joe Bryant

October 3, 1923 — May 6, 2015

Father Time finally did what many others had tried to do with no success, make the outlaw Willie Joe Bryant dead. He came into this world on October 3rd, 1923 and left May 6th, 2015. He was a tough man, hardened by the Great Depression and World War II. Neither the tyrants Adolf Hitler or Benito Mussolini could kill him as hard as they tried. From the age of 12, RJ Reynolds and James Duke sent thousands of small white tubular assassins to kill him without much success. The triumvirate of Jack Daniels, George Dickel, and Jim Beam used thousands of gallons of their products to do him in but he just wanted more. The family would like to thank the folks at Sprinkle Manor for showing much kindness during his last year on Earth. His attorney, Brad Bradford also showed great concern for his welfare during that time. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mamie Bryant; wife, Kathleen Bryant; sisters, Ethel Simmons, Corinne Angell, Francis Watts, and Robbie Roye. He is survived by his son, Roland Bryant and his wife, Dianne; son, Michael Bryant; daughter, Nina Moore; sisters, Betty Flippen and Jane Figler; and longtime life partner, Ann Webb. He also has three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. At his request there will be no service but those wishing can make online condolences to the family at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com
