William John Adam Watkins

William John Adam Watkins, 47, of Natural Bridge, VA was greeted at the gates of heaven on July 7, 2023. He was greeted by his parents; Harlon Reed Watkins and Ester Kaye Blackburn Watkins.

Throughout his life Adam took on many roles: dad, brother, friend, and most recently a child of God. He was a man who always had a smile on his face. Adam will always be remembered by his big laugh and bright smile. He is survived by his son, William Dennis Reed “Buckshot” Self, sister Charolette Watkins Bradley and husband Stanley, niece Katlyn “Squirt” Bradley and husband Thomas, fiancé Emily Overstreet and her son Nathaniel “Bubba,” special friend Mike Conley and many other friends and family.

The family will receive all his loved ones on July 18th from 6 to 8pm at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan Chapel, and on July 19th at 1pm there will be a small service at Trinity Baptist Church, located at 1223 9th Street Roanoke, VA.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to the Botetourt Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
