William "Billy" Lawrence Painter

William Lawrence "Billy" Painter, Jr., 64, of Buchanan, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018. He had worked at Lionberger Construction for 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William, Sr. and Lorraine Painter; and sister, Clara Painter. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debbie Painter; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Painter and Richard King; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Barbara Painter; grandchildren, Shianne Dooley King, Bentley Allen Painter, Lacey Marie Smith, Spencer Gold Smith; great-granddaughter, Raelynn Marie Overstreet; sisters and brother-in-law, Jeannie and Butch Peery, Kathy Guerra; numerous nieces and nephews; and their North Star family. Funeral Services will be held 11am Thursday, August 9, 2018 in the Buchanan Chapel Home with the Pastor JR Graybill officiating. Interment will follow in Roaring Run Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home.
