William "Bill" Gean Landes

William "Bill" Gean Landes, 79, of Lexington, took his final journey from his earthly home Saturday, February 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Henry Landes and Mary Campbell Watkins; brothers, Joseph, Samuel, Peter, and Frank Landes; sisters, Delia (Toots) Higgins, Janie Welch, and Janice Hall. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jason and Chad (Bambi) Landes, William Stanley; step-son, Danny Deacon; special grandson, Hunter (Brooke) Landes; other grandchildren, Pansy D. Wright, Matthew Trussel, Ray and Layne Landes; great-grandchildren, Blayne and Dixie Landes, Kevin Carter and Kaleb Wright; brother, Robert "Bob" and Gracie Landes; sisters, Louise Salmon, Sally (JB) Duke, Frances (Gary) Smith, and Shirley (George) Ray; two very special ladies, Patsy Landes and Gracie Housman; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Rapps Mill Cemetery.
