Wilburn Marrion Alexander,

Wilburn Marrion Alexander, Jr. 74, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014. Marrion was an US Navy veteran, an avid Poker Player, and enjoyed Golf. He was a retired supervisor for Philip-Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents; Wilburn Marrion Alexander, Sr. and Hettie Elsie Woodson Alexander; and his sister, Christine Alexander. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Mundy Alexander; children, Ronald Dean and Alisha Hess Alexander of Chester, Teresa Ann Alexander Weiss and Frankie Weiss of Dinwiddie, and Kevin Wayne Alexander of Chesterfield; sister and brothers and spouses, Martha Alexander Parke of Windsor, Montana, Glenn Alexander, Roy and Linda Alexander of Buchanan; grandchildren, George Krollman V, David Alexander, Dylan Alexander, Lizzie Alexander, Dustin Hess, Katie Weiss, and Kellie Weiss; great-grandson, Brayden Carroll; the Mundy family, Judy Thompson, Jerry and Barbara Mundy, Louis and Frances Mundy, Pat and Ricky Williams, and Gracie Mundy, all of Buchanan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Pastor Richard Ronk officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan.
