Walter "Pete" Edgar Sellers, Jr.

Walter “Pete” Edgar Sellers, Jr., 93, of Daleville, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter, Sr. and Clara Holland Sellers; brothers, William “Bill” and Richard “Dicky” Sellers; sister, Harriett Wright; and grandson, Nathan Dean.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rosanna Phipps Sellers; daughter, Karin S. Dean; sons and daughters-in-law, Walter E. Sellers, III and Maria, Keith R. Sellers and Beverly; step-daughter, Patricia Pearson and husband, Gene, step-son, Elzie Kelley; grandchildren, Ethan Sellers, Esther Sellers, Hannah Sellers, Isaac Sellers, Josiah Sellers, Nehemiah Sellers, Pearl Sellers, Rachael Sellers, Kimberly Eldredge, Joel Sellers, Zoë Dean, Jordan Dean, and Jesse Pearson; and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Monday, July 22, 2024 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan. Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Mr. I. Ray Sloan officiating.
