Walter Joe Ryder

Kay's beloved husband, Walter Joe Ryder, 83, of Buchanan, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022.  Joe was a kind, generous person. To show his kindness and make you smile, he once had a man approach him and ask for a dollar. Joe said he only had a $20, the fellow said well I can make change and Joe handed him the twenty and the fellow gave him back $19 back!!

He was also an advocate for cats and rescued many. If you would like to make a donation in his memory, please do so to the Angels of Assisi, the family would appreciate it greatly along with the cats.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends; most especially by his wife, Diana Kay Ryder; son, Robert Duke Ryder; daughter, Katie Marie Myers; friends, Dennis and Jean Byers; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers. Services will be private.
