Trinkle Elee Coleman

Trinkle Elee Coleman, 89, of Fincastle passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at his home. Trinkle was a US Army veteran who had served during the Korean Conflict. He had worked for Ford Motor Company in Detroit, the Grundy Ford dealership, and retired from the Jewell Smokeless Coal and Coke Corporation in Vansant, Va. He loved the Lord, his family, the Bible, and Christian fellowship. He wrote good-bye notes to all of his family which included his last statement, “Come and see me in my new home.” He was a member of Little Martha Old Regular Baptist Church in Leemaster, Virginia and attended Zion Hill Baptist Church in Fincastle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses Stewart Coleman and Sallie Ellen Cannady Coleman; and a still born son, Larry Dean Coleman. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Myrtle Marie Yates Coleman; daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Michael Bryant of Buchanan; sister, Rose Jones of Hamilton, NC; grandson and spouse, Matthew and Melissa Bryant; granddaughter, Rachel and Hunter Guilliams; great-grandchildren, Josiah, Hannah, Sarah, Lydia, and Daniel Bryant, Owen and Luke Guilliams, and one Bryant grandson on the way.
