Toney Basil Smith

Toney Basil Smith, 65, of Buchanan passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Proffitt Smith; father, Elmer Basil Smith; and mother, Barbara Ann Smith Moore.

He is survived by his sons, Jacob Smith; Benjamin (Jill Doster) Smith; step-father, Wayne Moore; sister, Dixie Huff and her husband, Jim; brother, Lloyd Smith; mother-in-law, Jean Begtrup Proffitt; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda and Tim Hullett, Penny and Eric Metz, and Sandy and Danny Hart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
