On February 18, 2022 we found out Timothy Eugene Alexander had been called home to be with the Lord just short of his 54th birthday. He was born on March 8, 1968 to the late Weldon Eugene and Rosa Pauline McCormick Alexander. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Palmer and Louise Alexander and Paul Jackson and Rosa (Kelly) McCormick. From the time he was little, and while growing up, he befriended many cats and dogs. They seemed to flock to his home, knowing he would take care of them. He had just taken in a new cat friend, Lexi around the time his mom passed away who will miss her time with Timmy. Timmy had multiple health issues over the years, which kept him from going out and doing a lot as most others can do. He learned a way to bypass his limits by using his computer to research, shop, watch movies, and talk to friends on Facebook. He enjoyed online shopping and the computer let him explore places that he could not go to on his own. He enjoyed working on cars with his father, Weldon. He was always doing something for his mother, Rosa. She wrote poetry, many poems which the family shares today. He was lucky enough to grow up living beside his aunt, Linda. He was able to visit and help her over the years, and she adored him. His entire life, he devoted to his family, as he would help everyone. Since he was young, he loved movies and had a great memory and knowledge of trivia. He could give you lines and highlights from all of the Avenger & Marvel movies, his favorites. Anything from the 80’s, he could tell you exact storylines. He enjoyed going to the local pool hall to play with his cousin and best friend, Davy Alexander Jr. They would spend time talking, playing, visiting and having a good time. He had many family friends that were always there for him, including, Pam who checked on him regularly. He is survived by his aunt, Linda McCormick, uncle and aunt, Wayne and Cindy Alexander; aunt, Carol Simmons; favorite cousins and best friends, David Alexander, Jr. (Davy) and Pam Hancock; and numerous other family members. He will be laid to rest with his parents in Fairview Cemetery on his birthday, March 8, 2022 at 11am. Online condolences may be made at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com or 540-254-3000
