Teresa Diane Lee Sawyer

Teresa Diane Lee Sawyer, 61, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frankie and Rosemary Lee; sister, Donna Thrasher; and fiancé, Morris Miller. She loved her kids, grandkids and animals, they were her everything. She loved going out to eat and to the movies with her friends. She had 30+ years of service at ITT and was big into the Union. She resided at Friendship Manor in independent living where she visited with lots of neighbors who became good friends. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Allie Sawyer; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Matt Cade; grandchildren, Logan and Mason Sawyer, soon to be granddaughter, Peyton Rose; and sister, Loretta Bourne. Special mention to friends, Barbara and Dennis Kennemore and cousins, Jeff and Brenda Moran and to Eddie Lee who drove her to many places and appointments after she could no longer drive. Visitation will be held from 12-1pm with funeral services at 1pm on Saturday, August 7, 2021 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Pastor Bryan Hughes officiating.
