Tawanya Gail Ayers

Tawanya Gail Ayers, 55, of Rocky Mount formerly of Botetourt County, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Ayers.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Ayers and fiancé, Staci Hudson; Cody Ayers and wife, Diane; mother, Adrianna Kirby “Diane Ayers”; grandchildren, Emily, Esmeriah, CJ, and Parklyn Ayers; brothers and sister-in-law, Michael and Deborah Ayers; Alan Ayers; sister, Kristie Guilliams; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Price Cook and Jennifer Jones.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery.
