Steven Mansfield Crawford

Steven Mansfield Crawford, 65, of Roanoke, entered his eternal heavenly home on Monday, November 21, 2016 surrounded by his wife, brother, and close family and friends. He enjoyed his 32 years of service at the VA Medical Center; was an avid fisherman and gardener, and loved watching sports. Steve loved everyone; he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Crawford; and father and mother-in-law, Gene, Sr. and Clara Moseley. He is survived by his loving wife, caregiver, and best friend of 19 years, Elizabeth Moseley Crawford; daughters, Cindy, Diana, and Jessica Crawford; grandson, Chad Burke; "adopted" grandson, Ethan Nolan; brother and sister-in-law, James "Jim" and Wanda Crawford; aunt and uncle, Jackie and Les Cahoon; 8 nieces; 3 nephews; in-laws, Bill (Debbie); John (Karen); and Gene, Jr. (Krista) Moseley; and Crystal (Bret) Bolton. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm with visitation one hour before at 12pm on Friday, November 25, 2016 at New Beginnings AOG Church, 1317 Narrow Passage Rd, with the Pastors Jerome Coleman and Marla Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
