Steven Elvin Deacon

Steven E. Deacon, 69, of Buchanan formerly of Boones Mill, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence F. Deacon; mother, Phyllis Jackson Bralley; grandparents, Homer and Lucille Jackson; uncles, Everette, Warren "Scott", Kenneth, Hunter "Bruce", Douglas "Carlyle", Curtis, and Bernard.

Steve retired as manager of Shepherds Auto Supply in Roanoke after numerous years of service. Back in his day, he gladly donned an Elvis suit and performed on many occasions.

He is survived by his former wife and caretaker, Debi Conner; uncles, Boyd "BD" and Boliver Deacon; and numerous cousins. Graveside services will be held 11am Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dave Mucha officiating.
