Stella Adeline Dudley Peery

Stella A. Dudley Peery, 84, of Buchanan, went to meet her sweet Jesus surrounded by her daughters and caregivers on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy P. Peery; mother, Lettie A. Dudley; “sons”, Carl David May, Sr. and Charles P. Giles, Sr.; brothers, Dickie and Junior Dudley; and sisters-in-law, Betty, Judy, and Donna Dudley. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia A. Boggess of Springwood, Shelby J. Giles of Thaxton, Norma J. May of Montvale; grandchildren; Chad (Katy) Baker, C.J. (Emily) May, Jr., Michelle (Chuck) Guilliams, Misty (Joey Crowder) May, US Marine, Jessica May Kelley; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob (Tashiana) Guilliams, Aaron and Logan Crowder, Levi Keley, Alyssa Guilliams, MaKenna May, Ivaleigh Baker; great-great-grandson, Nolan Kole Guilliams; brothers, Arthur and Lawrence Dudley; very special “sister”-in-law, (aunt) Edith EE Dudley; numerous nieces and nephews; and fur babies, Gizzy and JoJo. Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday, December 5, 2021 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Boone officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Church Cemetery.
