RICKMAN Shirley Ware Shirley Louise Ware Rickman, 85, of Buchanan, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011. She was a beautician for over 44 years, a charter member of the Rebekkah Lodge #59, a woman of the Moose, and a faithful member of New Beginnings Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Rickman, father, John E. Ware, mother, Okey Ware Fringer, step-father, Frank Fringer, son, Pete Rickman, brothers, Jack, Johnny, Ray, and Tommy Ware, sister, Evelyn Eubank, daughter-in-law, Kathleen Rickman. Survivors include her children, Jimmy Rickman of Fincastle; Faye Hambrick and husband, Leslie of Buchanan; Chuck Rickman and wife, Darlene of Roanoke; Marty Rickman and wife, Debbie of Buchanan; grandchildren, Lesley and David Morris, Jody Monk, Sarah and Jason Watts, Matt and Beth Rickman, and Travess Hatcher; great-grandchildren, Dallas Morris, Hunter and Ty Monk, and Emma Claire Rickman; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Paige Ware of Fincastle; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Bob Riddle, Jean and William McClure all of Buchanan; Patty and Roger Caron of Springfield, MS; sister-in-law, Virginia Dare Ware, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend, Rose Barger. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev. Marina Gopadze, Rev. Marla Moore, and Rev. H.K. Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
