Sally Bobbitt Light

Sally Bobbitt Light, 76, of Eagle Rock, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mason Light, and parents, John and Sallie Bobbitt. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Betty Marie Light of Florence, SC; Robin L. and Mike Boitnott of Eagle Rock; grandson, William Charles Fisher of Pittsburgh, PA; brothers and sister-in-law, Ray Bobbitt of Gray, TN; and John and Marlene Bobbitt of Eagle Rock. Special thanks to the staff of the Assisted Living at the Glebe and Alan Mabry with Carillion Hospice for their loving care. Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday, May 31, 2013 in the Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Morris A. Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church or the Carillion Hospice. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home (884-2276).
