Ruth Patricia “Patsy” Bramblett Goodwin December 12, 1936 – April 15, 2021 Ruth Patricia “Patsy” Bramblett Goodwin walked through the gates of Heaven on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse "Tippy" Goodwin; parents, Malcolm and Nellie Bramblett; and brother, Warner Bramblett. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Wayne Alexander of Blue Ridge and Karen Goodwin of Buchanan; grandchildren, Michael Alexander and Ashley Mundy; great- grandchild, Carter Mundy and sister, Carolyn Clark. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Buchanan Chapel of the Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Troutt officiating. Interment will follow in Lithia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00pm, Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Botetourt Funeral Home in Buchanan (540-254-3000).
