Ruth Marie Steele Agnor

Marie Steele Agnor, 89, of Eagle Rock, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born January 9, 1924 to William Harper and Lottie Fitzgerald Steele. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Le "Roy" Agnor; sister, Vera S. Camper; brothers-in-law, Warren and Orville Agnor; and sisters-in-law, Ola A. Dunn and Florence A. Rowan. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Loretta A. Caldwell and husband, Barry; grandsons and wives, Shannon and Laura Caldwell of Eagle Rock, Chad and Kimberly Caldwell of Pulaski; great-grandsons, Mitchell Caldwell of Buchanan and Christopher Caldwell of Eagle Rock; brother and wife, Marvin and Betty Steele of Stuarts Draft; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Marie loved her Lord, family, church, fishing, quilting, traveling, and flower gardening. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in the Eagle Rock United Methodist Church with the funeral service beginning at 2 pm with the Pastor Wessley C. Patterson, Pastor Zachery Hatcher, and Pastor Michael Groomes officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.
