Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Beckner

Ronald "Ronnie" E. Beckner, 80, of Buchanan passed away Friday, June 7, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Beckner; mother, Lucille Beckner Taylor; and step-father, Bill Taylor; siblings; Mildred Grant, Kathleen Yeatts, and Raymond Beckner. He is survived by his children, Randy (Cheryl), Victor, and Phillip Beckner; Rhonda Beckner Tlockowski; Jan (Randy) Frazier; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Lena Mae Hostetter; Albert Dixon; Dorothy (Fred) Morris; numerous nieces and nephews; and former wife, Alice Hartberger. Special thanks to the Hospice Care Team of the VA Hospital and the staff at the VVCC for their loving care. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm with services at 2pm, Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrell Naff officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery with military honors.
