Ronald Edwin Lakes

Ronald Edwin Lakes, 38, of Fincastle, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edwin and Eva Lakes. He is survived by his parents, Jerry E. and Delma A. Lakes of Fincastle; daughters, "beautiful daughter" Dakota Lakes of Roanoke; Annalise Lakes; son, August Lakes, both of Oklahoma City, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Steven D. and Ashley F. Lakes of Fincastle; special niece and nephew, Anna and Alex Lakes; maternal grandparents, Helen and Okley Alexander of Eagle Rock; uncle, Randy Alexander; aunts, Jean (Mike) Botkins, Faye (Herman) Ballinger; and Linda Lakes; special family friend, Karen Chitwood; and numerous cousins. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Saturday, April 2, 2011 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Timothy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Wheatland Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Friday, April 1, 2011 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan.
