Robert Lee Simpson

Robert Lee Simpson, 91, of Eagle Rock passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015. Mr. Simpson was a farmer, who farmed until he was 90 years of age. He was also an avid gun collector and trader. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Martha Fridley Simpson; son, Ricky Simpson; and great-granddaughter, Lauren Nicely. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Frances Biggs Simpson; children and spouses, Barbara and Charles Fridley of Eagle Rock, Sandra and Jerry Nicely of Covington, Gary and Gail Simpson, Robert and Chloe Simpson, Sue and Arthur McDaniel, all of Eagle Rock; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jean Fridley of Clifton Forge and Pat and Lomax McClung of Eagle Rock. Graveside Services will be held in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2 pm, Sunday, May 3, 2015 with the Rev. Robert A. McRae officiating.
