Robert Eugene Thomasson

Robert "Boo Boo" Eugene Thomasson, 68, of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Shanks Thomasson; parents, Romie and Pauline Thomasson; and brother, Henry "Hawkeye" Thomasson. He is survived by his son, Kevin Thomasson and Lorri Johnson of Buchanan; grandsons, Hayden and Emmett Thomasson; brother and sister-in-law, Romie and Marilyn Thomasson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Georgia Ayers; Della and Bill Hylton; Peggy and Joe Broughman; in-laws, Patsy and Alton Deacon; Wayne and Doris Shanks; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 4pm Sunday, March 1, 2015 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Woody officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday before the service at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buchanan Rescue Squad, PO Box 244, Buchanan, VA 24066.
