Rebecca Ward Wrenn

Rebecca Gail Ward Wrenn, 51, of Fincastle, departed this life into the arms of her Savior on Monday, December 23, 2013. Rebecca was born August 11, 1962 in Roanoke, she was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was presently employed as a Teller for the Bank of Botetourt. Rebecca was kind and sweet person who loved her horses and animals. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Shirley Pedigo Ward and William W. Ward, brothers, Barry L. Ward, Sr. and William F. "Sonny" Ward. Rebecca is survived by her husband of 17 years, John Michael Wrenn, Jr.; sons and daughter-in-law, William Marshall and Stephanie Wrenn of Thaxton, Adam Michael Wrenn of Fincastle; daughter, Madison Chase Wrenn of Fincastle; beloved grandson, Hayden Micheal Wrenn; sister, Carolyn Ward of Roanoke; sisters-in-law, Brenda Ward and Jean Walter, both of Roanoke; mother-in-law, Barbara Wrenn; father-in-law, J. Mike Wrenn, Sr.; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm, Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Rebecca funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Art Good officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
