Posey Staunton Hall

Posey Staunton Hall, Jr., 88, of Buchanan, fell asleep in Christ on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 and is resting until his Lord's return. Mr. Hall was a Navy Veteran who was stationed at Whidbey Island, Washington Naval Air Station and had retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation as a Right of Way Agent. He was preceded in death by his parents, Posey Staunton Hall, Sr. and Naomi Blankenship Hall, and brother, John C. Hall. Survivors include his Wife of 59 years and 364 days, Sharon Fleshman Hall; daughters and son-in-law, Connie and Butch Childress and Penny Hall; son and daughter-in-law, David and Michelle Hall, all of Buchanan; grandchildren, Michael and Cerianne Hall of Buena Vista, Jason and Kristine Hall of Buchanan. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, March 31, 2019 in the Buena Vista Seventh Day Adventists Church with Pastor Bob Banks officiating. Private interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Va. 24066.
