Patricia Ann Wymer Deacon

Patricia Ann Wymer Deacon, 81, Of Lexington, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022. Mrs. Deacon had retired from Wal-Mart. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lois Wymer Shanks and step-father, Ralph Shanks; her daughter, Katrina Ann Deacon Pelton; her husband, Larry Alton Deacon; and sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Robert Thomasson. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry D. and Kelli Deacon of Sevierville, TN, grandchild, Luke Deacon; step-grandchildren, Kyle Seavy and Jenna Wizzard; and step-great-grandchildren Mason Wizzard and Reese Seavy; step-brother, Wayne and Doris Shanks of Buchanan; special friends, Patsy Landes, Gaynelle Higgins, Cindy Noblett, and Cletus Lester. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm, Thursday, August 25, 2022 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan with Pastor Michael Tabor officiating. Interment will follow in Rapps Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
