Pamela Gail Broughman Horrie Graham

Pamela Gail Broughman Horrie Graham, 48, of Kirksville, Missouri formerly of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013. Pamela is survived by her husband, Andrew Graham; two children, Dalton Horrie and Gage Graham; mother, Ruby Sloan Broughman of Roanoke; father, Guy (Vilinda) Broughman of Wood Leaf, NC; sister, Brenda Haymaker and friend, Calvin Oyler of Vinton; brothers, Douglas (Juanita) Broughman of Springwood and Gary (Janet) Broughman of Goodview; and special nephew, William Haymaker of Salem. Pamela was raised in the Buchanan area where she attended James River High School. She enlisted in the US Army, where she became a military police officer assigned to Georgia, then to Turkey where she toured. After touring Turkey she went into the Army Reserve. She was assigned the 339th Military Police where she served as administrator of the unit. She toured El Salvador and Egypt. Pamela retired from the military in 2009 serving 22 years. A Celebration of Life service will be held 2pm Sunday, April 7, 2013 in the Virginia Presbyterian Church, 918 Pico Rd., Buchanan. There will be a luncheon following the service in the fellowship hall. Please join the family in celebrating Pamela's life.
