Ossie Thomas Bramlett

Ossie Christine Thomas Bramblett, 101, of Buchanan, passed away Monday, November 15, 2010. Mrs. Bramblett was a member of the Buchanan Baptist Church and had retired from Hafleigh Button Factory in Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Bramblett; parents, James Claude and Mattie Malone Johnson Thomas; sisters, Beulah Thomas Nuckols and Irene Thomas Williams; sister-in-law, Louise Bramblett. Survivors include her brother, James Marshall Thomas of Richmond; nieces, Georgie Lee Heyman and Pat Fertich; nephews, Doug Williams and Richard "Dick" Smith; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 18, 2010 in Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan with the Rev. Mike Woody officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, 540-254-3000.
