Mona Lee Lam Crowder

Mona Lee Lam Crowder, 71 of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Lam and brother, John Lam. She is survived by her children, Randy Reed, Jimmy Reed, Sarah Palmer, Michael Reed, Daryl "D.R." Reed, Missy Reed, and Kimberley Hunter; grandchildren, Samantha, Tabatha, and Mark Clausen, Stacey Noblett, Keyara Reed, Anya and Jocelyn Hunter; great-grandchildren, Logan Hawkins and Gabriella Clausen; brothers and sisters, W.R. "Bill" Lam, Shirley Chambers, Tom Lam, Ruth Dudley, and Dorothy Hicks. A gathering will be held for family and friends from 6 to 8pm, Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan, 540-254-3000. Due to her final resting place being in Newport News, the family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Rd., Suite 106, Roanoke, VA 24018.
