Mildred Hambrick Johnson

Mildred “Middy” Virginia Hambrick Johnson, 93, of Eagle Rock, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Brian Center in Lowmoor, VA where she lived since 2019. She was the daughter of the late Emory and Gladys Wilhelm Hambrick. Mildred was born and had lived most of her life in Eagle Rock and was a life-long member of Eagle Rock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Johnson in 2002; and her 6 brothers, William “Bill” Hambrick, Eugene Hambrick, Rudy Hambrick, Hollis “Jack” Hambrick, Robert Hambrick, and Leslie Hambrick. She is survived by her twin daughters, Susan (Jeff) Ross and Karen (James “Andy”) Anderson of Lewisburg, WV; 5 grandchildren, Shane (Karina) Anderson of Prosper, TX, Lori (Rick) McGee of Philippi, WV, Lee (Elaine) Ross of Evanson, WY, Michael (Jessica) Ross of Wolfcreek, WV, and Kevin (Abbi) Ross of Ronceverte, WV; and 7 great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff of Brian Center in Lowmoor for their love and care these last few years. Visitation will be from 2-3pm with services at 3pm on Sunday, May 22, 2022 in the Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Ronk officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to Eagle Rock Baptist Church or Eagle Rock Fire & Rescue.
