Michael "Mike" Howard Ensminger

Michael "Mike" Howard Ensminger, 66, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Mike was born June 20, 1952 in Elkins, WV to Martha and Howard Ensminger. He was preceded in death by his loving father, Howard Ensminger and his beloved grandson, Ethan Richardson. Mike is survived by his mother, Martha Ensminger; wife and loving best friend of 43 years, Diane Ensminger; daughter, Emily Martin and husband, Adam of Salem; daughter, Katie Richardson and husband, Adam of Fincastle; son, Michael Ensminger and wife, Corey of Vinton; grandchildren who adored him, Brianna Martin and boyfriend, Shannon Woods; Owen-Ray Richardson; Michael and Finley Ensminger; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shelly and Jay Moore; Susan and David Perfater; several nieces, nephews, special family, and friends. The family would like to say a special Thank You to Dr. Krohe of the Salem VA Medical Center for all his care and support. While Michael's family wish to celebrate his life privately this weekend, they want to say they appreciate all of the love and support being given during this difficult time.
