Maudine Fridley Whitmer

Maudine Faye Fridley Whitmer, 84, of Eagle Rock, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Whitmer, Sr.; brothers, Allen, Kenneth, and Jack Fridley; and sister, Joyce Offenbacker. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles, Jr. and Wanda Whitmer of Troutville; grandchildren, Michelle and Ben Lumsden, Micheal and Jenny Whitmer, and great-grandchildren, Luke, Gabriel, Christian, Katie, and Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Shiloh UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Eagle Rock. 884-2276
