Mary Virginia Firebaugh

Mary Virginia Jones Firebaugh, 62, of Daleville, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus Preston and Margaret Alice Dunbar Jones; brother, Jerry Jones, sisters, Brenda Jones and Margaret Jones Puckett; sisters-in-law, Maxine Jones and Mary E. Firebaugh. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Rufus Clemon Firebaugh; daughter and son-in-law, Terresa F and Brian Odum of Fincastle; son and daughter-in-law, Hubert and Melissa Firebaugh of Raleigh, NC; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Preston and Barbara Jones of Bassett, Daniel Joseph Jones of Roanoke, Douglas Wayne and Terry Jones of Roanoke; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, John Puckett of Bedford, Doris Jones of Nace, Wayne and Karen Firebaugh of Roanoke; grandchildren, Dustin, Darren, and Dylan Odum, Nathan and Naomi Firebaugh; numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and special family friend, Janet Adams. The family will receive friends at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Virginia on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jay Robinette officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery, Troutville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or the Humane Society.
