Mary Mcconnell Switzer

Mary McConnell Switzer, 87, of Marion, Kentucky formerly of Fincastle, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Price McConnell and Sarah Mattie Vass McConnell; husband, Paul Montague Switzer; foster brother, Hubert H. Guy; and grandson, Randy Harmer. Mrs. Switzer is survived by her son, William Oscar "Bill" Switzer of Marion, Kentucky; grandsons, William Oscar "BJ" Switzer, Jr., Joshua Paul Switzer, and Brian Switzer, six great-grandchildren, two nieces, and one nephew. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in the Eagle Rock United Methodist Church with the funeral service beginning at 2 pm with the Rev. Robert McRae officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home (884-2276).
