Martha Lucille Ingledew Jones

Martha Lucille Ingledew Jones, 73, of Troutville, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenza George and Ruby Florine Crawford Ingledew; her sister Doris Stull; and half-sisters, Lib McCormick and Nellie Maye Bcarrdi. She was an X-Ray Technician and finished her career in the Cath lab of Lewis Gale Medical Center, retiring in 2007, where she was known as the "Cake Lady". She was an avid University of Virginia fan, NASCAR #24, Jeff Gordon fan, supported the American Red Cross, and was a Charter and Life Member of the Blue Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad, where she taught CPR classes. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Frank Erskine Jones; daughter, Sandra J. Stubbs of Troutville; son, Eric Jones of Bedford; grandson, Dean Stubbs; granddaughter, Ally Jones; brother and sister-in-law, George and Katherine Ingledew of Decatur, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janie and Gene Craft of Cloverdale, Carol and Gene Roland of Florence, Kentucky, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev. Morris Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke. The family will receive friends Monday, August 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, VA 24066, 540-254-3000.
