Margaret Marie Morris Dale

Margaret Marie Morris Dale, 86, of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013. She was a member of the Lauderdale Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. She was a charter member of the Lexington Rescue Squad Auxiliary and a Lexington Lioness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale; parents, Howard and Lula Morris; grandson, Jackson Dale; sister, Dorothy Ponton; and nephew, Ricky Morris. She is survived by her son, Sam Dale of Daleville; granddaughter, Kerry Dale; grandson, Ryan Dale both of Manassas; brother, Jimmy Morris of Buchanan; special friends, Dolly Montgomery, Evelyn Newell and Bonnie Emore; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Margaret's Life will be held 2pm Saturday, October 26, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Dowling and Rev. Steve Willis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children (www.donate2shc.org) or the American Cancer Society.
