Lynn Temple Jones, Jr.

Lynn Temple Jones Jr. was born in Roanoke, VA on January 12th 1940. He passed on December 27th 2024 at his home in Buchanan, VA at age 84. Preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Judith, brother Robert, and daughter JoEllen, he leaves behind his wife Connie of 58 years, three remaining children Richard, Johnny, and Cassie and their spouses, nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and three remaining siblings Stephen, Brian, and Judith. He worked for Carter and Jones/Airlee cleaners for a majority of his career delivering and picking up orders. His specialty was assembling and hanging drapery. He was the organist for three of the churches he attended. He loved working with his hands. He was a skilled carpenter and built many things in his life. He loved to draw, paint, and garden. He also loved the Lord and tried to serve him by teaching others. We will be holding a celebration of life in the Spring.
