Louise Huff Wiley

Louise Judson Huff Wiley, 90, of Eagle Rock, VA went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 after suffering a stroke. Born October 11, 1920 in the family home in Eagle Rock, daughter of the late Emmett and Lura Wilhelm Huff, Louise lived her entire life in this home. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Wiley; daughter, Carolyn Page Wiley; and sister, Mary Huff White. She graciously served others through her employment at Howard Johnson's and Heironimus for many years until retirement. She will forever be remembered as a good-hearted woman who lived simply, loved her family and friends, and was kind to all. Surviving are her sons, Gary Wiley and wife, Jeanne, of Eagle Rock; Michael Wiley and wife, Deborah, of Daleville; and daughter, Dianne Callahan and husband, Michael, of Westfield, New Jersey. She leaves seven loving grandchildren; Virginia Thompson and husband, Jay; Bryan Wiley and wife, Betty; Kim Wyrick and husband, Britt; Conner Callahan, Colin Callahan, Craig Callahan and Christopher Callahan; and one great-grandson, Austin Wyrick. Memorials may be made to Eagle Rock or Fincastle Volunteer Rescue Squads. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Forest Grove Baptist Church, Eagle Rock, VA. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in church cemetery.
