Linwwood Earl Bush

Linwood Earl Bush completed life's journey on January 29, 2018 following a brief illness. Linwood was born in the Trinity area of Botetourt County, Virginia on April 23, 1928 and was a child of John Wesley Bush and Maggie Bush. Linwood liked to say that he was born on the same day and year as Shirley Temple, but she was born with a silver spoon and he was born with a hoe. Linwood was a farmer all of his life and some of his fondest memories were, as a young boy, helping his father sell produce and meat at the Roanoke City Market. Linwood worked for thirty years at Chesapeake & Potomac (C&P) Telephone Company, which later became Verizon. Linwood had a passion and love for all animals and was devoted to his cats, Pumpkin and Rusty. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10 am in Trinity Cemetery, Roanoke Rd., Troutville, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Linwood's memory to Jennings Creek Gospel Church, PO Box 427, Buchanan, VA 24066.
