Linda Faye Reynolds Reed

Linda Faye Reynolds Reed, 72, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away peacefully on July 8, 2020 in her home surrounded by family. Linda was born in Salem, Virginia on December 17, 1947 to the late Elmer Richard and Phyllis Wise Reynolds. She graduated from Andrew Lewis High School in 1965. Linda spent many wonderful summers at Blue Ridge Christian Camp where she served as the camp nurse. She also enjoyed participating in the Bible Bowl program at Edgewood Christian Church and Penn Forest Christian Church. Linda loved the Lord and had a passion for helping to lead the youth of the church. She enjoyed rejoicing with the Lord through the music of David Phelps and the Gaither Vocal Band. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Dennis Keith Reed; son, John Matthew Reed and his wife Crystal; and son, David Aaron Reed and his wife Amy; four grandchildren, Trey Kerr, Camden Reed, Madison Reed, and Mikayla Reed; brother Kenny Reynolds and sister-in-law Barbara Reynolds; two nieces, Amy Trolier and her husband Joe; Emily Smith and her husband David; and three great nieces and nephews; Joey Trolier, Kenzie and Kameron Smith. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the care and support provided by the Amedysis hospice team. The family has elected to not hold a service at this time.
