Lillian Marie Linkenhoker Trent

Lillian Marie Linkenhoker Trent, 96, of Buchanan and a lifetime resident of Botetourt County, passed away Tuesday, August 06, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewel Monroe Trent; parents, John , Sr. and Ida Linkenhoker; and brother, John "Bud" Linkenhoker, Jr.; grandchildren, Theresa Firebaugh Arey and Carolyn Trent Switzer. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Pete Jones of Abilene, TX; sons and special daughters-in-law, John and Dolly Trent of Daleville; and Phillip and Barbara Trent of Moneta; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Blanche Conner of Buchanan; many loving nieces and nephews; special cousin, Jimmy Morris; special friend, Glenn Thomas; and loving neighbor, Larry Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 9, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Lithia United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan. 540-254-3000.
