Leslie S. Ashwell

Leslie S. Ashwell, 86, of York, PA, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alyse Sisson Ashwell and parents, Frank and Eula Ashwell. Having served in Korea, he was a member of the VFW. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Purdum of York, PA and Mary Tygart of Syracuse, NY; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held at 2pm Sunday, December 2, 2012 in the Wheatland Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at noon until service time at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Hwy, Buchanan.
