Leonard Lee Fitzgerald

Leonard Lee Fitzgerald, 62, of Buchanan passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Woody M. Fitzgerald and brother, Claude "Doodle" Fitzgerald. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary McCulloch Fitzgerald; mother, Margaret Wells Fitzgerald of Lexington; sons and daughter-in-law, Leonard Lee "Bugs" Fitzgerald, Jr. of Buchanan; Bobby "BJ" and Coleen Fitzgerald of Blue Ridge; daughter, Melissa Fitzgerald of Buchanan; and grandchildren, Austin Fitzgerald; Byron Smith; Thomas Fitzgerald; Lexie and Li Li Fitzgerald. Memorial Services will be held at 2 pm Sunday, July 4, 2010 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Woody officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Rd., Glen Allen, VA 23060. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Botetourt Funeral Home (254-3000).
