Lena Sharronne Hall

Sharon Hall, 85, of Buchanan, surrounded by her family, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 24, 2021 following a battle with cancer. In addition to raising her family, over the years Sharon enjoyed traveling, volunteering at church for Vacation Bible School and small group Bible Study, Habitat for Humanity, and Buchanan Elementary. She also enjoyed keeping in touch with her family, church family and close friends through her telephone calls. She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Eula Cook Walton and Paul Walton; brother Isaac Walton; and husband of 59 years and 364 days, Posey Hall. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Connie and Butch Childress, Penny Hall, David and Michelle Hall; grandchildren, Michael and Ceri Hall, Jason Hall, and Kristine Hall. Visitation will be held at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem. Officiating will be Pastor Bob Banks of the Buena Vista Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
