Lawrence Dunbar Lee

Lawrence Dunbar Lee III of Buchanan, Virginia received his heavenly wings Monday, August 26, 2019. He was born May 16, 1968, to the late Lawrence (Jody) Lee, Jr. and Betty Watts Lee Terry of Buchanan, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandfathers, Charlie R. Watts and Lawrence Lee, Sr., grandmother, Lucille Conant, and uncle and aunt, Thomas and Karen Watts. Leaving to remember his life is his long-time companion, Teresa Underwood, grandmother, Helen Watts, step-father, Ralph Terry, step-mother, Ruby Lee, daughters, Amber Lee, Ashley Lee, and Allena Lee, sister, Cynthia Lamb (fiancé`, Lynn Hayth), brother, Angus Lee (Heather), step-sister, Lisa Anderson, step-brothers, Leon Terry and Mike Singo, granddaughters, Lillyanna and Ava Minnis, uncles, Leonard Watts, Charles Lee (Ruth), Gomez Lee, Toguri Lee, Juarez Lee (Wendy),aunts, Umm Shabazz and Judy Lee, niece, Alisha McCrowey, nephews, Xavier McCrowey and Domonick Anderson, three step-sisters, and a host of cousins and friends. A gathering of Family and Friends will held Sunday, September 1, 2019 beginning at 2:00 pm, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, followed by a Homegoing Celebration Service beginning at 3:00 pm with Rev. Leonard Watts officiating. Burial will be private.
