Laura June Hayes Hatcher

Laura June Hayes Hatcher, 54, of Fincastle, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday December 31, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, James Edgar Hayes; and brother, Darrell Hayes.  Laura loved to go to the beach especially Holden Beach in North Carolina, farming, and flower gardening.  She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Mike Hatcher, her son, Derek M. Hatcher; mother, Sandra Lee Staubs Hayes; brother, Darin and Michelle Hayes; and numerous nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for their outstanding care given to Laura.  She has requested her funeral and burial be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 4930 Country Club Road, Troutville, VA 24175.  Those wishing to send a condolence, please do so at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com or 540-254-3000.
