Kyle Douglas Austin

Kyle Douglas Austin, 56, of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Kyle Austin, Jr. and Macil A. Noell; and sister, Sandra Teegarden. He was a proud Hokie fan who graduated from VA Tech in 1976. Kyle was a Licensed Land Surveyor for over 30 years and taught surveying at Virginia Western and Lord Fairfax Community Colleges. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, guns, bows, and reloading bullets for hours. He is survived by wife of 34 years, Joyce L. Austin, step-father, Gary R. Noell of Buchanan; his special buddies, Pete, Pepper, Amos, Wimpy, and Doogie; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 6pm Saturday, June 5, 2010 with the Rev. Marina Gopadze officiating.
