Kevin John Nester

Kevin J. Nester, 35, of Buchanan, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2013, after a year long battle with leukemia, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. Kevin's most passionate pastime was watching the auto racing on Sundays, playing games on his computer, spending time with his family and friends, and grilling, summer or winter. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Faye and Vincent Worley, brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Michelle Nester, two nieces, Audrey and Autumn Nester, numerous cousins and a very special aunt, Shelby Fringer, who shared her love and support throughout this difficult time. The family will receive friends at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home at 10 am Wednesday, June 19, 2013 until the service hour at 11 am with Stanley Fringer officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan.
