Kenneth Wayne Kendall

Kenneth Wayne Kendall, Sr., 59, of Salem, VA, went to be with the Lord surrounded by loved ones on September 2, 2019. He was born in New Castle, VA, November 16, 1959 to Bob and Phyllis (Welch) Kendall. Loved for his sense of humor, he was known as a man who would get the job done, a master plasterer and outdoor sportsman. He will be greatly missed by his fiancée, Missy (Spites), his children, Kenneth Wayne Jr. & Crystal, Joshua Darin & Elizabeth, Nicole Wren, and Shauni (White). He is also survived by his siblings, Bo & Patsy Kendall, Janice & Robert Fridley, Barbara & David Fridley, Frances & Gary Kendall, Donna and Sam Old, Carol & Barry Owens; his grandchildren, Kasey, Kenzy, and Bruce Kendall, Alexis and Dakota Williams. Special thanks to all the family members who provided care and to Bo and Patsy who cared for him in their home. His life will be celebrated at First Baptist Church of New Castle Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Kevin Altizer officiating Visitation with the family will be held before the service at 1:30pm.
