Kenneth Nathan King

Kenneth Nathan King, 78, of Fincastle, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014. Mr. King was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church, had worked for Burlington Industries, and retired from the Botetourt County School System with over thirty years service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. and Joyce Conner King; sisters, Bertha Dodson and Inus Hudson; brothers, Joe, Arthur, Evine, Johnny, and Thomas King. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty Booze King; sons and daughters-in-law, Garry and Rochelle King of Buchanan, Jeffrey and Tina King of Vinton, Christopher and Deborah King of Roanoke; grandchildren, Kenny (Brittney) and Bryan King, Lindsay and Heather King, Robert and Emilie King, Kelsey and Melissa Sauve; great-grandchildren, Chance and Cheyenne King; sister, Martha King of Ringgold; brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Doris King of Bedford, Norman and Sandra King of Salem. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastor J R Graybill officiating. Interement will follow in Mill Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan. 540-254-3000
